We work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making. As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipeline development to data visualization and machine learning. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that support our media business * Developing and deploying data-driven solutions that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions * Troubleshooting and resolving issues with data pipelines and data-driven solutions * Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing * Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL pipeline development and support * Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts * Experience with containerization using Docker * Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies * Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS * Experience overseeing and deploying code using a source control system like GitLab or GitHub * Experience using cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar **What We Offer** As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
