About the Job As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a strategy to ensure broad Data Analytics engagement into new Google Cloud accounts. You will also identify new Data Analytics opportunities in existing Google Cloud accounts and accelerate Data Analytics adoption for key accounts with growing Data Analytics spend. Your expertise and influence will be crucial in building and maintaining executive relationships with clients, impacting long-term strategic direction, and acting as a trusted advisor. Key Responsibilities: Create a strategy to ensure broad Data Analytics engagement into new Google Cloud accounts. Identify new Data Analytics opportunities in existing Google Cloud accounts and accelerate Data Analytics adoption for key accounts with growing Data Analytics spend. Build and maintain executive relationships with clients as the Data Analytics subject matter expert, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor. Develop business strategies to succeed in accelerating solutions in a highly competitive environment. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to grow the business with new Data Analytics clients and opportunities. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills. The essential qualifications include: Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. At least 2 years of experience in selling data analysis software or solutions. Experience in executive-level sales or consulting in cloud-based (e.g., SaaS) technologies to State and Local Government and Higher Education. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with market-leading Business Intelligence Front-end, Data Analysis Middleware, or Back-end Data Warehouse technologies. Experience working with AI/ML technologies integrated into data solutions. Understanding of Cloud Data Analysis technology stack (i.e., Hadoop/Spark Data lakes, SQL Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Data management, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, OLAP and Data science framework, BigQuery, Looker, etc.). Ability to translate business value to technology at an executive level and act as a thought leader in Data Analytics subjects.
