Job Summary As a part-time, remote Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community rules and guidelines. This is a flexible position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and moderate the official Discord server, deleting messages that violate community rules and guidelines. Ban users who repeatedly violate community rules and guidelines. Mute users who have temporarily violated community rules and guidelines. Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations. Provide exceptional customer service and support to community members. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and fairness in moderation practices. Qualifications: To be successful as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Have a High School Diploma or GED. Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Be able to work independently in a remote setting. Have a strong understanding of community rules and guidelines. Be able to make fair and impartial decisions. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in community management or moderation. Familiarity with Discord and its features. Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment. Knowledge of computer programming languages or software development.
