Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager (ASM) in Training to join our team in Texas, USA. As an ASM in Training, you'll embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a senior leadership role. You'll work closely with our experienced store leaders to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and develop the next generation of Home Depot leaders. Key Responsibilities General Customer Service : Drive sales growth, ensure optimal store appearance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences through effective partner management and coaching. Managing Store Partners : Develop and implement effective staffing, scheduling, and training strategies to optimize partner performance and engagement. Operations Management : Oversee front-end and back-end processes, including sales, returns, and inventory management, to ensure seamless store operations. Business Analysis and Merchandising : Analyze sales trends, develop merchandising strategies, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive sales growth and improve product availability. Essential Responsibilities Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction through effective leadership and coaching. Develop and implement staffing, scheduling, and training strategies to optimize partner performance. Oversee front-end and back-end processes, including sales, returns, and inventory management. Analyze sales trends and develop merchandising strategies to drive sales growth. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including store leaders, field marketing, and MET teams, to drive business results. Develop and maintain knowledge of store standard operating procedures (SOPs), including safety compliance. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Age : 18 years or older. Work Authorization : Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include: Previous retail management experience. Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Leadership : Ability to inspire and motivate partners to achieve business results.
