They are seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join their North Carolina Environmental Remediation Team, where the role involves delivering innovative solutions for environmental site characterization and remediation projects. Responsibilities include managing fieldwork logistics, data analysis, technical report writing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Designing, performing, or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations Coordinating and managing fieldwork logistics Data analysis and interpretation Technical report writing Participating in meetings with clients and regulators Skills Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with a concentration in environmental or a related field Local (or willing to relocate) to North Carolina(Charlotte, or Raleigh/Cary) with ability to travel up to 60% - 75% Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and data management software United States Citizenship and valid drivers license 3.0 GPA Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, or other closely related technical field 40-hr HAZWOPER certification Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain one 12 months after hire Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan The ability to purchase company stock at a discount Deferred compensation plan Executive Deferral Plan Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees Seven paid holidays One floating holiday Caregiver leave Merit increases Performance discretionary bonus Stock Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
