The Opportunity At PeakMetrics, we’re redefining how organizations detect, understand, and respond to emerging narratives. We’re looking for a high-energy, startup-seasoned Business Development Representative who thrives on the thrill of connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and selling complex, high-value AI solutions to enterprise clients. This isn’t your typical SaaS sales role. You’ll be at the forefront of conversations with global enterprise organizations in crisis communications, PR, and corporate communications - helping them leverage AI-driven intelligence to make better, faster, and smarter decisions. If you’ve spent 2-4 years crushing BDR targets in a seed or Series A startup, understand enterprise sales motions, and are hungry to become an AE, this is your launchpad. What You’ll Be Doing: Fuel Growth: Own the top of the funnel:prospect, qualify, and generate opportunities with enterprise-level decision-makers. Master the Complex Sale: Build relationships with senior leaders in crisis comms and PR, understanding their challenges and positioning PeakMetrics’ AI-powered solutions as the answer. In-Person Events & Conferences: You’ll help drive attendance and represent PeakMetrics at key industry events and conferences that expand our market presence and generate new leads. Run Multi-Channel Campaigns: Execute structured outbound sequences via email, phone, and LinkedIn with precision and creativity. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, growth, and product to align messaging, optimize campaigns, and shape the voice of PeakMetrics in the market. Manage Your Pipeline: Track activity and progress in the CRM, delivering clear, consistent reporting on leads, conversions, and pipeline health. Think Like an Owner: Share market insights and prospect feedback to help shape go-to-market strategy and product development. Who You Are: You have 2–4 years of BDR experience in a fast-paced startup, ideally selling AI, analytics, or other complex enterprise products. You’ve sold to enterprise communications, PR, or crisis management leaders and know how to speak their language. You’re ambitious, gritty, and thrive under pressure—you move fast, think faster, and never let a challenge go unanswered. You bring energy and creativity to every conversation and light up a room when you talk about your product. You collaborate naturally, celebrate team wins, and believe that sales success takes a village. You have the drive and discipline of someone on the cusp of becoming an AE, but you still love the chase. You’re not afraid to experiment, fail fast, and learn faster—because trying something new is half the fun. Integrity and authenticity aren’t buzzwords for you—they’re how you build trust with prospects and teammates alike. What You Bring: Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating qualified leads. Strong command of enterprise B2B sales strategies and value-based selling. Proficiency in CRM and sales tools, with a data-driven approach to outreach and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, confident, and engaging. Passion for AI, narrative intelligence, and the evolving landscape of information and reputation management. Ability to thrive in an early-stage, fast-growth startup environment where priorities shift fast and impact is immediate. Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and client meetings.
