Distribution Center Material Handler

Role and Responsibilities: This physically demanding position is central to keeping warehouse operations running smoothly. As a Distribution Center Material Handler, you will be responsible for: • Loading and unloading palletized products and cases from trailers • Using warehouse technology to pick, scan, and prepare items for shipment accurately • Safely operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts (training and certification provided) • Arranging products on trailer floors manually or with loading equipment • Completing routine cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a safe work environment Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum age of 18 years • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation • Capacity to stand and walk for long periods throughout shifts • Physical ability to perform repetitive movements such as climbing, bending, stretching, kneeling, and reaching • Comfort with manual labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling • Willingness to work at elevated heights using ladders or lift equipment • Ability to adapt to environments with temperature changes, humidity, noise, and slippery surfaces Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive 401(k) plan with company match • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage • Tuition reimbursement and education assistance • Access to exclusive employee discounts and additional benefit programs About FritoLay: FritoLay is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and promotes inclusivity in the workplace.
