Development & Communications Coordinator

The Development & Communications Coordinator plays a critical support role on E3 Ranch Foundation’s Mission Advancement & Stewardship team, helping ensure clarity, consistency, and excellence in donor interactions while supporting donor development and communications. Responsibilities Develop and/or support donor stewardship processes, including assistance in preparing slide decks, donor lookbooks, leave-behinds, and tailored presentation materials for donor-facing meetings Assist in the coordination of donor touchpoints, mailings, thank-you workflows, and event-related communication Maintain donor records in the CRM, ensuring high-quality data entry, accuracy, and segmentation support Generate CRM reports and exports as requested by the Director or Donor Development Officer, and take initiative to create additional data-driven reports, custom segments that support donor stewardship, reveal trends, and strengthen MAS decision-making Support logistics and administrative needs for donor events, including RSVPs, materials, schedules, and on-the-ground support The role may evolve to conduct research on donor prospects, corporate partners, churches, foundations, and affinity groups Assist in producing digital, print, and event-based communication assets (graphics, posts, slides, newsletters, decks) Draft, edit, proofread, or assemble content that aligns with E3RF’s brand standards, tone, and mission language Support social media scheduling, posting, engagement monitoring, and asset organization under Director guidance Learn and/or apply communication best practices, including UX/UI, email strategy, platform excellence, and campaign execution Learn and/or support communications functions, including coordinating with graphic designers, creating QR codes, assisting with registration systems, building digital forms, supporting SMS texting initiatives, helping manage website content, editing copy, and assembling email newsletters Partner with the Director to ensure all donor and communications materials, including print, digital, and merchandise, align with E3RF’s brand standards, mission language, and visual consistency Assist in the process for gathering stories, program updates, and team highlights from foundation staff, and assemble them into content and narratives that help the Donor Development Officer to engage partners and share E3RF’s impact Participate in a collaborative content review process within the MAS team to ensure materials are vetted for quality assurance before public release Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn E3RF's tone, messaging preferences, and brand standards Highly organized with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple initiatives Have, or be eager to learn, skills in UX/UI principles, campaign strategy, communications best practices, and contributing creative ideas Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, including private donor data, survivor stories, and operational details related to counter-sex trafficking. Maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with law enforcement, high-profile individuals, or program participants, including veterans who hunt as part of our programming Must be a self-motivated, proactive problem solver who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to support donor development activities such as presentations, donor research, event support, or donor communications is strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Nonprofit Leadership, or equivalent work experience preferred Proven experience working in a nonprofit environment, particularly in digital communications, donor development, or mission-driven storytelling Benefits Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) 12 Observed Holidays $6,000 Qualified Small Employer HRA (QSEHRA) 401(k) Retirement Plan - Planned for implementation in 2026.
