Descript Video Editor (2 Simple YouTube Edits per Week — Long-Term)
Hey! I run a YouTube long-firm interview series. I’m looking for a reliable editor to help me publish 2 cleaned-up videos per week so I’m not the bottleneck anymore. No fancy cinematic stuff. This is cleanup work inside Descript and Canva. Just needs to look and sound clean. Your tasks: Trim and add the intro (clean up multiple VO takes + keep natural eye contact moments) Cut the main jam (delete everything before countdown + after wrap) Smooth pacing during screenshares (remove long silences, “ums,” and “uhs”) Add a Key Takeaways slide in Canva and Descript + short music outro Export and upload final files to a Google Drive folder You’re a good fit if you: - Already use Descript (bonus if you’ve edited podcasts or talking-head videos) - Care about pacing and clarity - Are consistent, communicative, and organized - Can deliver 2 videos per week Pay: $400–$550/month (flat) Long-term if it works well.
