Dental Scheduling Coordinator (REMOTE) Location: Remote — must be able to work U.S. business hours (Eastern Time preferred) Compensation: $21–$25 per hour (DOE) About Us Unified Dental Care is a fast-growing, multi-location dental group committed to delivering exceptional patient care through operational excellence, integrity, and efficiency. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven individual with strong dental scheduling and treatment planning experience to support our clinical teams remotely. Position Summary The Dental Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for ensuring doctor and hygiene schedules are fully optimized at least one week in advance, reviewing treatment plans for accuracy, confirming insurance and eligibility, and helping ensure daily production goals are met. This is a remote role supporting our Michigan and Texas based offices. The ideal candidate has strong dental experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities • Always maintain the schedule one week ahead • Review every upcoming appointment to ensure required attachments are included • Validate that attachments align with appointed procedures • Audit treatment plans and cross-check against patient accounts: • Confirm treatment plan fees and remaining insurance maximums • Ensure insurance information is entered; flag missing info to office supervisors as needed • Maintain/track daily production goals and escalate if off-target · For hygiene scheduling, ensure all visits have appropriate X-rays attached, confirm eligibility for new-patient routing, and verify pre-determinations when required. Flag sealant needs for review and keep records current for recurring appointments · For new-patient scheduling, ensure the full diagnostic bundle is booked and X-ray eligibility is confirmed Qualifications • 2–3+ years of dental scheduling, treatment planning, or front-office experience • Strong understanding of treatment codes, insurance limits, and dental workflows • Knowledge of X-ray frequency & billing guidelines • Familiarity with appointment optimization for production targets • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication & time-management skills • Proficiency in dental practice management software (Open Dental preferred) • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity • Must be able to work standard business hours (Eastern Time) Compensation Competitive hourly rate: $21 – $25 per hour (based on experience) Benefits • Remote work environment • Dental benefits • PTO / Paid Holidays • Bonus opportunities • Growth + advancement opportunities Schedule • Full-time preferred • Standard business hours Monday–Friday • Alignment with U.S. Eastern Time required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Experience: • Dental Scheduling/Treatment planning/Front-office : 3 years (Required) Location: • United States (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
