Data Reviewer

The Data Reviewer is responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across organizational systems. This role plays a critical function in maintaining data integrity, supporting compliance requirements, and enabling reliable business decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of data quality standards and documentation procedures. Key Responsibilities : Review, audit, and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple databases and reporting systems Identify data discrepancies, anomalies, and quality issues, and document findings in accordance with established procedures Collaborate with data analysts, data entry teams, and quality assurance personnel to resolve identified issues Ensure data complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards Maintain detailed records of data reviews, corrections, and quality control activities Prepare summary reports outlining data quality trends, risks, and improvement recommendations Adhere to data security, confidentiality, and privacy regulations at all times Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and data validation evidence Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to data governance and quality processes Required Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data review, data quality, data analysis, or a related role Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect inconsistencies and errors Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database systems and data management tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, insurance, government, or technology) Familiarity with data governance frameworks and quality assurance methodologies Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, or data validation software Prior audit, compliance, or quality control experience Annual Compensation : Salary Range : $55,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and skills.
