Data ArchitectRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade data platforms and integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, strong background in data ingestion/integration from diverse sources (especially Salesforce), and proven experience in healthcare domain data platforms. This individual will act as the core architect/designer on projects where platforms are built from scratch, demonstrating both technical leadership and strong communication skills. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale data platforms on AWS. Drive data integration strategies across multiple source systems with a focus on Salesforce and other healthcare-related applications. Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance for data management. Design and optimize data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as Kinesis, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, S3, and EMR. Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Provide technical leadership to development teams, mentoring engineers and ensuring delivery quality. Ensure data security, compliance, and risk minimization in line with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.). Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align data strategies with business goals. Required Skills & Qualifications10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, with a strong background in building data platforms from the ground up. Hands-on expertise with AWS Data Services: Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, S3, EMR, RDS, DynamoDB, etc. Strong experience in data integration and ingestion pipelines from heterogeneous source systems, with emphasis on Salesforce. Proven experience in the Healthcare domain (EHR, claims, patient data, regulatory compliance). Excellent knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and cloud-native architectures. Strong leadership and communication skills with experience leading cross-functional technical teams. Experience in solution design, PoC development, and system implementation. Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with modern data lake/lakehouse architectures. Exposure to real-time streaming pipelines and event-driven architectures. Understanding of API-driven integrations and microservices in data platforms.
