Edelman now hiring:Data Analyst SupervisorWe are seeking a Data Analyst Supervisor with strong quantitative and technical expertise, advanced data analysis skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The Data Analyst Supervisor will be responsible for managing and delivering analytics projects, overseeing quantitative research and data visualization from design through final deliverables, and leading client conversations around data-driven strategies. Your Role. Lead the design, execution, and delivery of quantitative research and data analytics projects, from scoping to client-ready outputs. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (digital platforms, social media, surveys, business performance metrics, etc.). Build and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations to track KPIs and uncover insights. Apply statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and segmentation to solve complex business challenges. Interpret data findings and work with analysts to create compelling, data-driven narratives and client presentations. Scope and manage integration of third-party datasets, APIs, and business intelligence tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, corporate, and brand) to ensure that data insights inform decision-making. Independently manage small to mid-sized analytics projects, with oversight on larger programs. Supervise and mentor junior analysts and interns, providing guidance on data methodologies and best practices. Contribute to new business development by identifying opportunities for data-informed proposals and case studies. Qualifications. A BA/BS degree in a related field (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, etc.) with at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, research, or analytics roles. Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one analytics/visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). Familiarity with Python, R, or other statistical programming languages is a plus. Experience with social listening and secondary research tools (Talkwalker, Sysomos, Factiva, LexisNexis, etc.). Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present quantitative data clearly to clients and stakeholders. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
