Cybersecurity Analyst | Service Resiliency Management (Remote)

The Cyber Security Analyst I is an entry-level professional within the Change Management Enablement team, part of Home Depot's Cybersecurity organization. This role focuses on supporting secure planning, coordination, and implementation of Cyber technology changes. Ensuring business operations remain resilient and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • Review and assess proposed changes, identifying potential security risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place prior to deployment. • Coordinate between cybersecurity engineers and business stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of changes, prioritizing effective risk mitigation aligned with Home Depot's business objectives. • Monitor change requests and collaborate on the documentation process to meet established security and compliance requirements. • Conduct Blameless Postmortem to the development and continuous improvement of change management processes, standards, and best practices related to cybersecurity enablement. • Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities that could impact change management activities, escalating relevant concerns to senior team members. • Engage in training and development opportunities to deepen understanding of Home Depot's cybersecurity program and change management methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications • Basic understanding of information security principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability) and risk management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration and reporting. • Detail-oriented approach to process documentation, risk assessment, and compliance tracking. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional environments. • Proficiency in common business and security tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite, basic security monitoring platforms). Direct Manager/Direct Reports: • This Position typically reports to Manager or Sr. Manager • This Position has 0 Direct Reports Travel Requirements: • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements: • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions: • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
