Customer Insights Associate Director

About the position Responsibilities • Partner with senior leaders to understand key business issues and use data-driven insights to inform brand experience strategies, messaging, and public relations. • Design custom research in support of the Brand Measurement Trackers to yield actionable insights that will drive brand strategies. • Guide research agency analytic teams to perform advanced analytics that provides deeper insights and uncovers opportunities for the brand including: driver and correlation analysis, perceptual maps. • Lead a cross functional team in preparing the Annual 'State of the Brand' report that provides a holistic, enterprise wide view of the health and strength of the Verizon brand. • Manage research agency partners for custom research projects from scoping to delivery, with a focus on uncovering insights that enhance brand perception and inform strategic communications for public relations purposes. • Partner with the sponsorship team to identify relevant activations around the fans' needs and passions and measure their impact on brand associations and brand health. • Collaborate with the Corporate Social Responsibility team to conduct research and analysis that ensures our programs are meaningful, relevant, and impactful to society, and that they are implemented with excellence. Requirements • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. • Knowledge of media monitoring and analysis tools. • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Designed small and large-scale research projects involving primary and secondary data collection. • Proven experience in conducting market research for PR purposes. • Analyzed data from multiple sources and provided insights and recommendations tailored to different functions and levels. • Experience with marketing communications and mobile, digital, and social media platforms. • Experience managing people and teams, either via direct reporting or influence. • Experience with both Consumer and B2B audiences.
