Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Industry Location: Remote / Indianapolis HQ Company: 1st Signature Lending Type: Full-Time Are you passionate about developing people and building programs from the ground up? 1st Signature Lending is hiring a Corporate Trainer to lead the creation and launch of our internal training program—designed to turn motivated recruits into knowledgeable, confident mortgage professionals. This is a brand-new position with the opportunity to shape, own, and grow a key function within our organization. Position Summary As the first Corporate Trainer at 1st Signature Lending, you’ll design and deliver our training program from the ground up. Your mission: create an onboarding and development experience that equips new hires with the skills, confidence, and professionalism needed to thrive in the mortgage industry. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a builder’s mindset, takes ownership of new initiatives, and brings energy to every training session. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and launch of a company-wide training program for new hires • Deliver structured, engaging onboarding sessions covering mortgage origination, compliance, systems, and client interaction • Continuously improve training materials and processes based on feedback and performance outcomes • Serve as a mentor and coach to new hires, guiding them through their early-stage learning and career development • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, sales, compliance, and operations teams to align training with company goals • Track progress, assess knowledge retention, and communicate results to key stakeholders • Stay current on industry best practices, technology, and regulatory changes Requirements • 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending, with deep knowledge of the origination process • Previous experience in training, program development, or mentoring roles • A passion for teaching and a track record of launching successful initiatives • Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Familiarity with LOS Encompass and Microsoft Office Why This Role is Exciting • Be the first to shape and lead a new training program • Have real influence and visibility across the organization • Competitive compensation and benefits • Make a direct impact on the growth and success of new mortgage professionals If you're ready to build something meaningful and leave your mark, we want to hear from you.
