Controllership, Finance Internship

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Complete a project solving a real business challenge for the organization • Participate in other initiatives and projects as assigned • Assist with monthly general ledger close activities including completing journal entries and account reconciliations • Assist in producing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reports • Establish relationships and partner with subject matter experts key to Controllership accounting activities About You The company is looking for: • Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program • Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 • Communication skills to synthesize data into an easy-to-understand story and articulate key messages across multiple audiences • Agile mentality with a positive, can-do attitude, adaptability to change, and motivation as a self-starter • Leadership qualities to act and lead with courage, establish relationships, make decisions quickly, and influence change • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U. S.
