The CPT Case Coordinator assesses the risk of abuse and neglect to children, assesses client and family needs, and coordinates CPT services. Conduct forensic interviews to determine whether a child has been abused and/or neglected or is at risk of abuse and neglect, assess client and family needs, and coordinate CPT servicesConduct clinical/psychosocial assessments as well as forensic/specialized interviews with children and adults. Obtain referral and family history. Provide on-call support as required and scheduled. Provide depositions and expert court testimony as needed. Coordinate and attend psychological and medical evaluations required for cases. Maintain clinical records and program documentation. Complete reports according to contract and CHS standards. Train the community on the dynamics and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Coordinate and participate in multi-disciplinary staffing.2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment. Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends. Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process. Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations. Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary. Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time. Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties. Job QualificationsEducation, Licenses & Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field from an accredited university, required. Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire, along with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required. Experience:Three years of post-bachelor’s degree experience, including one year working with abused and neglected children, required. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of:COMMUNITY RESOURCES | CHILD ABUSE & NEGLECTSkills and proficiency in:Planning, project management, organization and time managementInterpersonal relationship building, collaboration and teamworkComputer systems and MS Office, including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to:Perform at a high level of autonomy, with minimal supervision. Perform under strong demands in fast-paced, diverse, sometimes ambiguous environments. Handle highly stressful, sensitive situations; maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Set appropriate limits and boundaries with clients; act decisively to protect clients, when necessary. Interact effectively with children/families from diverse backgrounds, being sensitive to service population’s cultural/socioeconomic characteristics. Meet critical deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy and quality. Solve practical problems and document results using good judgement. Schedule ExpectationsThe incumbent will work a standard scheduled week, which may include weekends, holidays and evenings. The ability to work flexible hours is required to meet business needs. If working remotely, incumbent will be required to be available by telephone and email during specified hours. Travel will be on an as-needed basis to conduct CHS business-related activities. In the event of a declared disaster or emergency, an Essential Services Delivery position will be required to provide for the overall welfare of CHS clients when interruption of services could endanger their life, health or personal safety.
