Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Tech Lead
Location: Fully Remote (Western Europe Preferred) Start Date: Q2 2025 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and visionary CTO to lead the technical strategy and execution of the Gasp network, a cutting-edge peer-to-peer blockchain system. This role is fully remote and ideal for individuals with deep expertise in blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi). As our CTO, you’ll align our technical development with the product vision, driving innovation and ensuring the success of a censorship-resistant, self-custody-focused ecosystem. Key Responsibilities ● Product Alignment: Translate the product vision into a robust technical architecture, bridging business and technology. ● Technical Leadership: ○ Oversee and integrate all technical components: ■ Blockchain protocols ■ Smart contracts ■ Backend services ■ Frontend applications ■ Infrastructure and DevOps ○ Act as the technical thought leader, ensuring best practices in decentralized technologies. ○ Mentor and scale technical teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. ● Innovation & Strategy: Drive innovation in blockchain technologies, focusing on areas like: ○ Layer 2 solutions ○ Cross-chain interoperability ○ MEV minimization ○ Emerging trends like zk-rollups and account abstraction What We’re Looking For ● Proven Expertise: ○ Strong track record of delivering world-class blockchain projects. ○ Hands-on experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems, including Ethereum (EVM), Polkadot (Substrate), and Solana (Rust). ○ Proficiency in smart contracts, backend services, and blockchain-traditional web integrations. ● Leadership & Communication: ○ Exceptional ability to manage and scale technical teams. ○ Clear and concise communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. ● Deep Crypto Knowledge: ○ Immersed in the crypto world, with a finger on the pulse of industry trends and narratives. ○ Experience with native crypto protocols and innovative blockchain features. ● Strategic Visionary: A strategic thinker who can balance long-term innovation with immediate deliverables.
