Role Overview

As a Procurement Planner, you will collaborate closely with our Refrigerants and Consumables teams to oversee sourcing activities across our US operational sites. Your role will involve purchasing materials, managing inventory, and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Procure materials and components from approved suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production requirements.

Foster strong vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor supplier performance for reliability and cost efficiency.

Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules to streamline inventory management and minimize shortages and excess stock.

Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and logistics teams to align production schedules with customer demand.

Utilize ERP systems to monitor purchase orders, shipments, and inventory levels, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as supplier disruptions and transportation delays.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, inventory transactions, and supplier communications.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting procurement and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or production planning, preferably within manufacturing or distribution sectors.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and decision-making.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software applications.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, inventory optimization techniques, and supply chain best practices.

APICS certification preferred.
