What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate all insurance services to ensure timely and accurate student insurance billing
- Resolve coding-related billing matters to facilitate prompt reimbursement
- Collect, verify, and update insurance information, ensuring superbill templates are timely generated
- Communicate with billing insurance companies for efficient processing and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum education of high school diploma or GED equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Minimum of 5 years of related certified medical billing experience
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Proficient in Google Suite, electronic medical records, and Excel for managing and reporting data

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with limited direction and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience managing high volumes of work with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiarity with Practice Fusion or similar electronic medical record systems
