Business Development Representative

Tripleseat is the leading web-based event management and sales platform designed for restaurants, hotels, and unique venues. As a Business Development Representative, you will proactively identify and generate business leads while collaborating with the sales team to implement successful strategies. Responsibilities Proactively identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting Conduct high-volume phone, email, and social media outreach to engage with potential clients and qualify leads Develop a deep understanding of Tripleseat’s product offerings, value propositions, and target market Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead interactions in the CRM system Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve lead generation efforts continually Other related duties as assigned Skills Ability to generate new business leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting Ability to quickly learn and maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, value propositions, and target markets Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the benefits and impact of Tripleseat, while engaging with a diverse base of prospects Proven ability to handle multiple sales cadences, while staying organized and maintaining attention to detail A proactive approach to achieving sales targets and continually improving performance Ability to self-motivate and remain goal-oriented, while working effectively in both independent and team environments Willingness to stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitors to enhance lead generation efforts A customer-focused attitude and the ability to build rapport across teams One year of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably within the SaaS industry Demonstrated success in achieving quota in software sales and/or SaaS sales Experience in event management, restaurant or hotel operations Familiarity with sales strategies and an ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns Experience using CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and keep accurate records Benefits Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability Plans 401(k) with Company Match Parental Leave Flexible Paid Time Off Pet Insurance Company Overview Tripleseat is the event management software for restaurants and venues.
