Responsibilities
1. Safely operate and maintain a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers’ homes and businesses.
2. Follow delivery routes and time schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
3. Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle with care.
4. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Use handheld devices for routing information, customer delivery information, and to communicate with the dispatch team.
6. Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
7. Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations while driving and delivering packages.
Requirements
1. Must be at least 21 years old.
2. Possess a valid driver’s license.
3. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
5. Strong communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
