2026 Intern - Generative AI Software Engineer

They are seeking a 2026 intern for their Generative AI Software Engineer position, where the intern will work on developing scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend applications while exploring the commercial viability of new capabilities. Responsibilities Rapidly spin up prototypes that explore the commercial viability of capabilities invented by Adobe research teams Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines Design and develop intuitive, responsive, and performant frontend applications Improve prototypes and products by empathetically listening to feedback from customers and colleagues Evaluate cutting-edge GenAI models Skills Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027 Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills Previous related experience in software engineering (applicable coursework, projects, internships, etc.) Proficiency and experience with JavaScript or Python Understanding of how large language models and diffusion models are trained and operate, including trade-offs made during training and inference Familiar with the software development lifecycle - designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web and mobile apps Results-oriented, with ability and interest in learning new technologies and adapting quickly to new requirements and environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September Company Overview Adobe is a software company that provides its users with digital marketing and media solutions.
